An LED Watch With Industrial Styling
Inspired by aviation and automotive themes, the Blade LED watch features a custom made case and lens styled like a turbine engine, from beneath which digital tube LEDs rotate like a propellor to display the time in an unconventional yet easy to read way.
Available with blue, green or red LEDs, Blade is framed by an industrial-looking sandblasted stainless steel case with brushed detail. The watch is finished with a fully adjustable stainless steel or leather wrist band suitable for small and large wrists.
Easy To Read with Two Time Modes in One Watch
There are two time modes programmed into Blade. You can choose your preferred display mode in the settings. Press the upper button to display the time. Take a look at the diagrams below to find out more. The date can be viewed in the same way as the time by pressing the upper button twice.
An LED Watch Design With Time, Date & Alarm
As well as the time, Blade has a date mode, alarm, light-up animation, and is USB rechargeable.
Activate the light-up animation and the vivid LED blades rotate rapidly like a jet engine once every 15 minutes between 6pm and midnight.
To recharge Blade, connect it to your computer with the USB cable provided. A full charge takes 3.5 hours and each charge should last 1 month.

Blade is a limited edition design meaning that it is guaranteed to be an original watch that not many other people own.

This watch comes in an exclusive gift box. It features graphics of iconic watches from Tokyoflash Japan past and present on a red background.
How To Read The Time
Press the upper button. The LED blades spin around the face highlighting three blades in turn which indicate the hour and minutes. It's super easy to follow if you imagine the blades as numbers on a clock.
Press the upper button. The LED blades show hours and minutes at a glance. The lit blade indicates the hour, the flashing blade indicates five minute groups and four dots indicate exact minutes 1-4.
From Concept To Reality
The idea for Blade was submitted to Tokyoflash Japan by Peter Fletcher from the UK. Find out more about the original concept on the Tokyoflash Japan Design Studio Blog. Blog reader & watch designer Peter says:
"When Blade (originally known as 'P-Zero') was picked to be developed I couldn't believe my dream was finally coming true. Elements of another of my designs 'Turbine' (a personal favourite of mine) were incorporated, which have taken my original concept to new levels. I am so pleased with the outcome and want to thank the whole Tokyoflash team for doing such a splendid job! I would also like to thank the fans and the other blog submitters for giving it and me great support."
