Reading the time on Uzumaki is just like reading the time on a conventional watch. The colored swirls indicate the time: hours on the outer swirl and minutes on the inner swirl. The hand indicates seconds for precise timing.
The idea for Uzumaki was submitted to Tokyoflash Japan by Firdaus Rohman from Malaysia. Find out more about the original concept on the Tokyoflash Japan Design Studio Blog. Blog reader & watch designer Firdaus says:
"This is for real! Tokyoflash Japan has brought my watch design to life! I remember the moment I wrote "unleash your inner circle" for the design description a year ago - so inspiring! I learnt that the development of this watch was extremely challenging. A million thanks to the team at Tokyoflash Japan who put in so much effort to bring my idea to life. The result is impressive! Thank you to everyone. Uzumaki is now a dream come true!"
A limited edition postcard will be included with every watch ordered between November 1st and December 26th. Designed and printed in Japan, the postcard features graphics of iconic Tokyoflash Japan watches past and present and space for you to write your own personalized message, creating a much appreciated and original gift.
