  • A Watch Inspired By Tokyo Train Travel

    The Train Line Watch is a unique and rare Japanese watch design inspired by the electric sign boards on train station platforms in Tokyo.

    Tokyo is dominated by the world's most extensive urban rail network. It has more than 150 train lines and 2000 stations. Shinjuku station in central Tokyo is the world’s busiest used by an average of 3.64 million people per day.

    Train Platform Electric Sign Board Time Display

    The Japanese designer of the Train Line Watch worked closely with Tokyo railway company Odakyu to perfect the detail of the watch display. The high quality LCD panel is a reproduction of the electric sign boards on the train platform at three stations: Shinjuku station, Fujisawa station and Machida station.

    Unique Japanese Watch Design

    The Train Line Watch has a unique case design and is finished with a comfortable and fully adjustable black silicone strap. An unusual yet cool Japanese watch design for rail enthusiasts, trainspotters, and anyone with a love or fascination for Tokyo’s subways and railways.

How To Read The Time

Fujisawa Station

The LCD panel is always on, but will light up with bright colored backlighting when you press the button. The time is displayed with digital numbers in the top right of the screen. Press the button twice and the date will be displayed in the same way

Machida Station

The LCD panel is always on, but will light up with bright colored backlighting when you press the button. The time is displayed with digital numbers in the top right of the screen. Press the button twice and the date will be displayed in the same way.

Shinjuku Station

The LCD panel is always on, but will light up with bright colored backlighting when you press the button. The time is displayed with digital numbers in the top right of the screen. Press the button twice and the date will be displayed in the same way.
