Measure Every Moment In Volts
In 1819, Danish physicist Hans Christian Ørsted noticed something unusual—a compass needle shifted when he ran an electric current through a nearby wire. This simple discovery revealed a hidden link between electricity and magnetism, paving the way for instruments like the voltmeter.
A Watch Design Inspired By Science
A voltmeter measures the voltage between two points in a circuit. Taking inspiration from this important scientific instrument, the Voltmeter watch uses a custom-made movement with Japanese Miyota gearboxes to display the time and date in a creative and unique way.
Hours 1–12 are shown on the orange AC volts scale. Minutes in groups of 10 are shown on the red capacitance scale. Single minutes 1–9 are shown on the DC volts dial on the left. The mode (date, AM, PM) is shown on the resistance dial on the right.
The date can be read in a similar way to the time. Reading the time and date becomes second nature once you know the system. See the examples below to learn more.
Two Modes — One Unique Experience
In ‘Active Mode’, you can read the time at a glance. After 6 hours, the needles return to their origin positions. Choose ‘Dynamic Mode’ to bring your watch to life. Press the button and watch the needles sweep from their origin positions to reveal the time.
Detailed Design With Quality Materials
Machined from 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished detail, the Voltmeter watch features a custom-designed dial, mineral crystal, and your choice of a 316L stainless steel or genuine leather strap.
