  • A Cryptic LED Watch Design

    Inspired by a retro speaker, Xtal Wood features a dark sandalwood case combined with genuine fabric mesh to conceal the time beneath. Press the button and the digital LED time will illuminate the display.

    A Watch with Time, Date, Alarm & 6 Animations

    As well as the time in digital and cryptic mode (see diagrams below) you can choose 12 or 24 hour mode and Xtal has a date mode too. The watch is USB rechargeable which means you'll never have to change the battery. To recharge, connect to your computer with the USB cable provided. One full charge will take 3.5 hours and each charge should last 2 months.

    Xtal Wood features six different user-selectable animation patterns. When turned on, your choice of animation will illuminate the display every 15 minutes between 6pm and midnight. You can turn this on or off in the settings.

    Wood Watches from Tokyoflash Japan

    Xtal Wood has been carefully crafted from 100% natural wood in very limited quantities. The watch has an adjustable strap and weighs just 54 grams, a lightweight unisex watch design suitable for small and large wrists. Like all wood watches from Tokyoflash Japan, a clear coating has been applied to Xtal Wood for protection and durability.

    Custom Designed Packaging

    This watch comes in an exclusive gift box. It features graphics of iconic watches from Tokyoflash Japan past and present on a red background.

How To Read The Time

There are two time modes programmed into Xtal Wood. The first is regular mode and displays time in a row of four stylized hexagonal LED digits. The second mode is cryptic mode - to outsiders these LED shapes look like alien code - but is in fact the same digital numbers with the middle line removed. The 8 is an exception but it's easy to learn. Xtal Wood is easy to read when you know how but creates a sense of mystery for onlookers.
